Several matching fragments of a tile with two independent inscriptions standing upside down to each other. Writing technique: incised (before firing). Type of inscription: refers to inscription b; inscription a: possibly the beginning of a palindrome; Translation Manzella: il lavoro è stato numericamente controllato e parimenti verificato) Line 1 is configured as a dactylic pentapodia (or, considering the anthroponym in its own right, as a first hexameter hemistich); in turn, the 1. 2 embraces a second hexameter hemistich; both structures may be entirely occasional here (see CLEPann p.127)
