Main Translation

Translation ... Faustus, freedman of Caius, lies here at the age of twenty years. May the earth be light upon you.

The time of your fate proceeds in haste, and the early years of your life tumble down the edge of a precipice. For you carry with you no more than twenty years, but a loinger life would be fitting for a man of your standing.
Citation Fabio Spalla
