Main Translation

Translation Caius Iulius, son of Caius, of the tribus Fabia, from Ninica, soldier of the 7th legion, aged 39, in his 17th year of service, is placed here.
Oh guest, pause at this mound, read and stay, you will know what you must know. I lived as I could, dear to the gods. Here I am buried, here my bones will rest. Farewell and do well in life, while the fate comes.
The freedman Faustus to his master.
