Translation Architrave:
Farewell, Modius!

Epigraphic field:
Farewell Gemina! To the Manes and ot the eternal memory of Septicia Gemina, a most devoted virtuous woman and wife of a single man. Lucius Modius Annianus made this while still alive for his wife, much beloved and who loved him so much, who lived married to him for thirty years, and for hismelf.

Comment

Dating proposed by Allmer and Dissard. Audin and Burnand propose a dating between 240 and 310, based on the unabbreviated invocation to the Manes, the reference to memoria, and the use of the ascia.
