Architrave: To the Manes and to the eternal memory of Matia Vera, who lived by my side for thirty-six years, three months and ten days, without causing pain to my heart. A long-lasting love has perished, she was snatched away by sudden death. If only fate had buried us together! Posinnonius Dubitatus took care to arrange this monument and dedicated it under the ascia, to his incomparable wife, whom I never grieved for, except for her death. |

Other Translations
(French , A. Allmer, P. Dissard)
