Main Translation

Translation To the Spirits of the Departed. My name is Basileus. I lie together with my mother because of a hard fate subdued by a severe disease. Kyzikios buried me and the famous Secunda, me who was plucking the first flower on the cheeks.
Here under this mound I am buried, Basileus, a young boy killed by a sudden death accomplished the law of the fates. My mother who gave me birth lies also buried here. Kyzycius made this honour for me together with Secunda.
Citation Cenati, González Berdús
