Main Translation

Translation Tabula handles:
To the Manes.

Oh what pain! How many tears made the grave of Iulia Lucina, who lived dearest to her mother. Here lies the innocence of her youth, buried within this stone. Oh, if only that spirit could come back to life, to know how much sorrow there is!

She lived twenty-seven years, ten months and thirteen days. Her most wretched mother Iulia Partehnope set this up.
