Τὸν σοφίης προὔχοντα
καὶ εὐτεκνίης ἀροτῆρα,
τὸν πατέρ’ ἡμέτερον
πολλοῖσι χρόνοις γεγαῶτα,
5τὸν τρὶς ἀριστεύσαντα
σὺν ἐντείμοισι φίλοισι
Εὐτόνιοι παῖδες πατέρ’
Εὐτόνιον τεθνεῶτα
πολλάκις ὑμνήσωμεν
10ἐναὶ στήλαισι γραφέντα.

Main Translation

Translation Let us, children of Eutonios, sing the praises of our father, outstanding in wisdom and the begetter of excellent children, who lived through many ages, who distinguished himself thrice with the help of honoured friends, our dead father Eutonios, whose name is inscribed on stelae.
