Main Translation

Translation Tinuleia Musa, freedwoman of Sextus.

If those who abandoned the world rejoice of the voice of the living, this monument makes clear that I was pleasing to my patron. With a grandiose funeral, with his usual kindness, shedding tears, he placed me down here on my final day, crying, after he lost me. This way, he ensured that everyone may say that I am dead but happy, since I was pleasing to my patron.
Citation Fabio Spalla
