Θέμις Χρυσέρως Σεμέλη Ἀξία Βιβία Χρυσέρως

σύνευνος ἦν μοι Χρυσέρως, Ῥώμη πατρίς, γαίης ἁπάσης βασιλίς, ὄνομα δ’ ἦν Θέμις. τέσσαρα δὲ λείπω τέκεα, τὸν μὲν ἄρσενα ὁμώνυμον τῷ πατρὶ, παρθένους δὲ τρεῖς Σεμέλην τε Βιβίαν τε κ’ Ἀξίαν τρίτην. ὀλίγη δὲ νοῦσος ὠκέως με ἐκοίμισεν.

Chryseros was my bedfellow, Rome my fatherland, empress of the entire world. My name was Themis. I leave behind four children. The boy took the same name as the father, the three girls were called Semele, Vibia, and Axia. A little illness laid me to rest quickly.

Mein Bettgenosse war Chryseros, meine Heimat Rom, die Kaiserin der ganzen Erde. Mein Name war "Themis". Ich hinterlasse vier Kinder. Der Knabe trug den gleichen Namen wie der Vater, die drei Mädchen hiessen Semele, Vibia und Axia. Eine kleine Krankheit hat mich rasch zur Ruhe kommen lassen.
