It was not enough for the wretched parents to live with in a single pain, for they had already lost a daughter before. Here they are with yet another daughter buried, another pain, for they both died close to the time of their marriage. But what a void has been left in us by you, Harmonia Rufina, who lived with us thirteen years, six months and twenty-six days. We, your parents, wish to join you soon; I, your father Harmonius Ianuarius, with your mother Clodia Trophime, who mourns, living in suffering. Indeed, we have no hesitation to abandon life and die.</p>

                <p>No había bastado que estos desafortunados padres vivieran con un único dolor, porque ya antes habían perdido a una hija: helos aquí ahora con otra hija enterrada que les renueva el mismo dolor, pues las dos desdichadas fueron a morir ya casi en su edad nupcial. Y qué dolor tan grande nos has dejado, Armonía Rufina, después de vivir con nosotros trece años, seis meses y veintiséis días. Y nosotros, vuestros padres, estamos deseosos de acercarnos a vosotras, yo, vuestro padre Harmonio Jenaro, junto con vuestra madre, Claudia Trófime, que llora y vive sin dejar de lamentarse. Y no dudamos, desde luego, en abandonar la vida y morir.</p>
